Pastor Roger came to Heritage as the interim Pastor in 2015. In 2016 he began serving in Pastoral Care helping touch the lives of many in our congregation through visiting and helping meet short terms needs through the Shepherding Commission.

It is a most awesome and humbling experience to lead worship with God's people, the bride of Christ. When we worship together, the Holy Spirit moves us to accomplish things that are impossible with man, but possible for God.

Born in central Kansas, Justin grew up on a farm, loving the outdoors. He met a girl named Elise and moved to the big city of Bakersfield. He now runs New Frontier Consulting and serves as the Executive Pastor of HBC. Free time activities include Husker sports, reading history books and outdoor activities.

I am thrilled to be a part of this ministry where I can watch children praise God, care and pray for each other as well as grow in their relationship with our Father God. Our Sunday morning & Wednesday evening teams are ready to welcome your child and teach him/her by using creative techniques. Your child will have fun as they learn and grow closer to our God.

As I travel, hike, and ride my bike in the hills of east Bakersfield, I see and enjoy the wonders of God. He is so good to us. I feel as King David did when he said, "Many, Lord my God, are the wonders you have done, the things you planned for us. None can compare with you; were I to speak and tell of your deeds, they would be too many to declare." (Psalm 40:5)

I love meeting people who are coming to our church for the first time. I enjoy serving the Lord and encourage others to serve. I like doing outdoor activities with my dogs.

God has gifted Mike with many talents and skills. He and his crew keep our campus clean and running smoothly.
